Giving back to the communities we serve
At the Warehouse Group, we’re Here for Good. Over the years, we’ve raised over 83 million dollars for New Zealand communities and have contributed to countless community-focussed initiatives. Each year, we support our 8 key charity partners through in-store fundraising and events, helping to provide Kiwis with the critical support that these charity partners provide. Here are a few ways we’ve supported the Education community recently.
We helped kids get kitted out with our Back to School campaign
As part of our #hereforgood Back to School campaign, we’ve contributed over $250,000 in Warehouse Stationery vouchers to schools. It’s just one of the ways we’re helping to support equitable learning opportunities in Kiwi schools.
We helped The Blues ‘Fill The Blues Bus’
The Blues rugby’s campaign is a push to make sure every kid has a present under the tree for Christmas. During November, five Warehouse Stationery stores became gift collection points for the ‘Fill The Blues Bus’ campaign. A bus packed with Blues players then collected the gifts and delivered them to The Salvation Army. We also donated over $14,000 of essential stationery items to fill 500 ‘Back to School’ bags, which were sold for $30 each, with all proceeds donated to The Salvation Army.
Friends & Family raised over $40,000
Every year, Noel Leeming and Warehouse Stationery runs a campaign where discounted pricing is offered to friends and family of our school customers, with a percentage of sales then donated to support leading New Zealand charities. Our November Friends & Family campaign was a run-away success, raising $11,100 for I am Hope; $21,702 for Starship; and $7,791 for KidsCan! That’s a massive $40,593 in total. A huge shout out to all the schools who shared this offer, we couldn’t have done it without you.
